WASHINGTON: While the vote counting for the US presidential election was still underway, 45th president of the United States, Donald Trump on Wednesday hinted at election rigging by expressing reservation that the opponents were trying to steal the election.

In a tweet, Trump said that votes could not be cast after the polls were closed.

“I will be making a statement tonight. A big WIN! We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election. We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Polls are closed!” he tweeted.

On the other hand, Joe Biden said he was satisfied with his position. “Keep the faith, guys. We’re gonna win this. It’s not my place or Donald Trump’s place to declare the winner of this election. It’s the voters’ place,” he tweeted.

Keep the faith, guys. We’re gonna win this.
