“There was pressure on my government to recognize Israel,” says Imran Khan

Speaking to the digital media representatives in Peshawar former Premier Minister Imran Khan said that, when he was in power, there was a lot of pressure to recognize Israel as a sovereign state. “We received a message that you should think about the country,” Khan said.
Although he refused to reveal the name of the person who sent the message, Imran Khan said that a United States’ influenced body wants Pakistan to recognize Israel.
“I have been saying for 26 years that Asif Ali Zardari and PML-N are one and the same,” Khan added.
Imran Khan said that there was no deal behind ending the long march.
“I have called off Long March to avoid blood-shed,” Imran said.
Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said that they had announced their resignations in front of the Speaker on the floor of the National Assembly.
He said that now no member has to go to the assembly individually for the verification of resignations.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan also denied contacting real estate tycoon Malik Riaz for a patch-up with the ex-president and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
