“There must be some misunderstanding”, says Urwa about Sonya Hussyn’s legal notice
During a recent interview, the producer of the upcoming film Tich Button, Urwa Hocane revealed that she is not aware of the legal notice of Rs 5 million sent by Sonya Hussyn to her.
Urwa appeared in a program on Express TV in which she talked about her upcoming film Tich Button, her relationship status with Farhan Saeed and the legal notice sent by Sonya Hussyn.
While talking about the controversy for not paying the full amount to Sonya and legal notice about that, she said, “I am just a call away. We should speak to each other and find out a solution. I am sure there should be some misunderstanding, we all are mature enough to resolve issues, why sabotage a project like this”.
She further stated, “I am also worried about such a notice, it’s not like that, she’s been a team, I know the process has become longer but we understand things and we will address this misunderstanding, maybe Sonya Hussyn would have called me”.
Sonya Hussyn previously informed her fans in Time Out with Ahsan Khan that she hasn’t gotten her paycheck for the film yet. She sent a legal notice of Rs 5 million to Urwa Hocane, claiming the former was not paid her contractual dues as committed.
Amid controversies, the film Tich Button’s release date also got delayed.
