The Punjab govt decides to reduce the curriculum of schools by 50%

The Punjab government has decided to improve the curriculum from first-class to 10th class by 50%.

According to a statement issued by the Punjab Education Department, the Punjab government has decided to make the curriculum from first grade to 10th grade smart.

According to the provincial government, the move is being made to compensate for the educational damage caused by the coronavirus.

A statement issued by the Punjab Education Department said that the syllabus of subjects for examinations in all schools of Punjab will be reduced from 40 to 50 percent in 2021.

Consultations are underway with the expert teachers of the textbook board in this regard. Expert teachers have been given the task of critically reviewing the newly developed Smart Slabs.

The smart curriculum will also be sent to public and private sector school management across Punjab. All courses will be available online. The main chapters of each article will be included, while the others will be omitted. A list of included topics will be prepared.
