The Legend of Maula Jatt surpasses Bollywood film Bhramastra at UK box office
The magic of Bilal Lashari’s mega film “The Legend of Maula Jatt” is not stopping anytime soon.
In less than 20 days of its release, the film has managed to dethrone hit Indian films at the UK box office.
According to the latest box office numbers, Maula Jatt has also surpassed Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s film Brahmastra. It minted £1.045 million while Brahmastra stands at £1.036 million at the UK box office.
previously, the film achieved another milestone by ruling by surpassing two recently released Bollywood films by Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar.
Indian film trade analyst Komal Nahta took to Twitter and wrote, “Pakistani film Maula Jatt on 13th day is higher than both Bollywood films on their 1st day”
Maula Jatt also beat the highest-grossing Indian movie “RRR” lifetime business in just 17 days at the UK box office.
Directed by Bilal Lashari and produced by Ammara Hikmat, The Legend of Maula Jatt also stars Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Mirza Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi, Ali Azmat, Nayyer Ejaz, Shafqat Cheema, Raheela Agha, Zia Khan and Saima Baloch.
