The Legend of Maula Jatt rules at the box office, earns Rs50.91 crores

Bilal Lashari’s mega film “The Legend Of Maula Jatt” has opened to a roaring success, both in domestic and overseas markets.
According to the latest press release, the film earned Rs50.91 crores in its opening weekend and became the largest-mounted Pakistan-made Punjabi language film to date.
The Legend Of Maula Jatt had the highest and broadest release of any Pakistani or Punjabi movie to date, playing on 500+ screens across 25 nations.
The movie made Pakistani rupees 11.27 crores ($526,902) in domestic sales. In its debut weekend (four days), it made £315,000 in the UK from 79 locations. This film, which debuted in the UK at position 9, had the greatest opening weekend gross of any Punjabi or Pakistani-made movie to date.
The Legend Of Maula Jatt earned $324,000 in Canada, placing it at No. 6 at the country’s box office. North American collections total more than $600,000 in total.
The Legend Of Maula Jatt made over US$515,000 in the UAE as well, debuting at No. 1 at the UAE Box Office, demonstrating the voluminous support audiences there have given the movie. Other performing territories are Australia (AU$255,000), Norway, Germany, Netherlands, Spain and South East Asia.
The adrenaline-filled action film The Legend of Maula Jatt release on October 13 worldwide. The star-studded cast of the film includes Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Mirza Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi, Ali Azmat, Nayyer Ejaz, Shafqat Cheema, Raheela Agha, Zia Khan and Saima Baloch.
