 The Legend of Maula Jatt earns Rs100 Crores globally, becomes Pakistan’s most successful film to date

Bilal Lashari’s mega film The Legend of Maula Jatt has achieved another milestone and earned Rs100 Crores globally.

The film’s director, Bilal Lashari shared a post related to Maula Jatt’s massive success at the box office on Instagram and wrote, “you did it. Thank you”.

The whole cast and crew of the film feel grateful for this milestone. Humaima Malick who played the role of Daaro shared a heartfelt note on her Instagram story.

Malick wrote, “Maula Jatt just crossed 100 crores today. I can’t tell you how emotional I feel while I’m typing this as words can’t describe how proud and happy I feel for our country. I started working in the industry when I was 14 and Bol was my first project. Today, Maula Jatt made this big worldwide, loved by millions of people all over the world”.

“It’s a proud moment for Pakistanis all over the world as we’ve made 100 crores in 10 days and this is the best portrayal of our film industry. I’m so proud to be a part of it”, the actress concluded.

The biggest-grossing Punjabi-language movie produced in Pakistan to date earned US$2.3 (Rs50.91) crore million in its first weekend of release.

According to a press release, The Legend Of Maula Jatt has the highest and broadest distribution of any Pakistani or Punjabi movie to date on 500+ screens across 25 countries.

Produced by Ammara Hikmat, the star-studded cast of the film includes Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malick, Gohar Rasheed and Faris Shafi in pivotal roles.
