Tesla has not sold any Bitcoin, confirms Elon Musk

Putting an end to speculation, Tesla Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk on Monday said that his company had not sold any Bitcoin.
He made this announcement after “shitposting” about Bitcoin, criticizing it for consuming gigantic amount of power and questioning its claim of decentralization. Earlier he had announced that his company would accept Bitcoin for trading and later he said that due to environmental concerns the idea of accepting Bitcoin was debarred.

Elon Musk seems to be spending time these days on Twitter, dumping and pumping different cryptocurrencies through his remarks. With more than 55 million followers on the social media platform, Musk has a great influence on the digital currencies.
After his latest tweet, Bitcoin steadied at $44,900 per coin on Monday. Even though a day ago he had agreed to a statement by a Twitter handle about reaction of Bitcoiners after Musk will withdraw the money he had invested in the coin.
