Tensions rise over Indian firing on Chinese troops

Troops were fired upon by India near the Chinese border in the disputed region of Ladakh, but no one was killed in the attack.

After the incident, the situation between the two countries became tense again.

According to the news agency, a Chinese military spokesman said that Indian forces opened fire on Chinese troops in the area of Penggang Lake, which means to provoke war.

It is to be noted that Indian troops have repeatedly tried to tamper with the border with China. China has exercised restraint and insisted on resolving the issue through dialogue.

Border tensions and incursions between the two countries began in May-June this year. India lost 15 of its soldiers in a series of skirmishes on June 15 over repeated attacks and border violations by India.
