Temporary shelter homes are being set up to prevent cold weather in KPK
Peshawar: Temporary shelter homes are being set up in the province KPK to prevent the cold weather. After receiving directions from KPK’s Chief Minister, the District Administration have sent additional beds, kitchen sets and blankets are being sent, said Social Welfare Department.
According to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat spokesperson, more than 1000 sets have been dispatched to 18 districts of the province. Temporary shelters have been established in Bannu, Lower Chitral, Hangu District and Kur Adama district.
He further said that shelter homes have also been established in other places including Lakki Marwat district of Sarai Noorung, Malakand district of Batkhela and Peshawar.
Blankets and warm clothes have also been distributed among the nomads to prevent cold.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan thinks of the poor and we will deliver his vision,” said Mehmood Khan.
