 ‘Tanhaiyaan’ actor Amir Hatmi passes away

The hit drama serial Tanhaiyaan’s actor Amir Hatmi has passed away. The reason for his death is yet unknown.

The news of his demise was announced by journalist, Fifi Haroon, in a tweet recently.

With great regret Im announcing the sad demise of Amir Hatmi. You may remember him as Saad Salman cast opp Shehnaz Sheikh in Tanhaiyan.
Amir, a talented model, had a brief acting career. A lovely guy with more than his fair share of life's troubles.

“With great regret I’m announcing the sad demise of Amir Hatmi. You may remember him as Saad Salman cast opp Shehnaz Sheikh in Tanhaiyan. Amir, a talented model, had a brief acting career. A lovely guy with more than his fair share of life’s troubles. You will be missed Amir, RIP,” she wrote.

Tanhaiyaan follows the lives of two sisters who go to live with their aunt after losing their parents. When they set out to buy back their parent’s house, they are forced to ponder over what makes a house a home.

The drama serial was directed by the iconic Shahzad Khalil and written by the popular dramatist and playwright, Haseena Moin.

The classic drama serial featured a star ensemble with many veteran actors.
