Swiss player secures first position in Pakistan Int’l Snowboarding Championship

The Pakistan International Snowboarding Championship has been won by a Swiss player, Victor Rojer. He has achieved the first position in the giant slalom category.

Moreover, the accomplishers of second and third position were Belgium’s snowboarder Julien and Harry respectively. Whereas, the all top three positions of giant slalom female category have been achieved by Pakistani snowboarders.

Fatima Nadeem acquired first position, Sara Nadeem ranked as second and Ayesha Akmal got third position in the same category.

On the other hand, the participants from Pakistan and Afghanistan were honoured by being listed under the parallel slalom male winners category.

The top winners were awarded cash prizes and participation certificates by the chief guest, Senator Faisal Javed.

According to Faisal Javed, “It is very good to see national and international players participating in the snowboarding championship, which attracted a large number of tourists.”

The Pakistan International Snowboarding Championship was held in Malam Jabba ski resort in Swat which was attended by 44 national and international players including women players from Switzerland, Belgium, France and Afghanistan.
