KARACHI: An influential man beat a poor man with baseball bat so severely that blood started gushing out of his wounds in Defence Housing Authority area of Karachi.
Video of the incident was shot by a citizen. The incident took place in presence of police officials as the man driving a car beat the bearded guy who was riding a bike over a petty issue.
The wounded guy can be seen lying on main road beside his motorbike. Police have arrested the suspect after people present on this occasion did not let him run away.
Police said the man who tortured the poor guy has been identified as Farooq. They said the motorcyclist allegedly came before his car and could not clear his way immediately, upon which a brawl began which led to the sad event.
The injured man was unconscious until last night, police said.
