 Super Moon sighted in Pakistan

The super moon was sighted in various cities of Pakistan, on Sunday night.

The residents of Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Sukkur witnessed the super moon.

However, the moon was not clearly visible in Islamabad and Peshawar due to cloudy weather.

Initially the moon became visible and was sighted in Multan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Fort Abbas Desert of Cholistan.

A supermoon is a full moon or a new moon that nearly coincides with perigee—the closest that the Moon comes to the Earth.
