Sultan Golden says Chitral’s administration accused him of marrying underage girl over monetary issue
CHITRAL: In response to Chitral administration’s allegation, renowned car and motorcycle stuntman Sultan Mohammad Golden said the administration was accusing him of marrying an underage girl of the district because he had had a dispute with it over non-provision of money.
Sultan Golden said that his wife was 18-year-old and he held all the documents and computerized national identity card as evidence to prove it.
Talking to Hum News, he said the Chitral administration was blackmailing him. He said the administration had to give him Rs8.5 million for making car jump record in Shandur festival. However, he said, the administration did not pay him money on time and impounded his car for six months as well. He said the local administration paid him the money after he approached the Malakand commissioner.
A report of Chitral deputy commissioner claimed that the 60-year-old had married to the 12-year-old girl. It claimed that parents of the girl counterfeited school certificate to make CNIC from NADRA. The report recommended to lodge an FIR under Child Marriage Act 1929 against the stuntman for marrying an underage girl.
The report said that it was Golden’s third marriage – second in Chitral.
