ISLAMABAD: Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood has told the Senate that sub-campuses of public sector universities were being established across the country including six in Balochistan.
The House has been informed that the revenue of the National Highway Authority (NHA) has increased to 25.80 billion rupees over the last 16 months. Minister for Communication Murad Saeed informed this during the Question Hour that the amount included recoveries of 11.90 billion rupees.

He said that toll tax had not been increased by the present government on the motorways.
The House passed ‘The Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority Bill, 2019’. The bill was moved by Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Azam Khan Swati.
On the other hand, Abdul Wali Khan University (Mardan) had increased the fee for various types of examination sections last week.
BS students who previously paid a fee of Rs2,800 would now deposit Rs4,200 in their respective colleges.
The degree’s normal fee has increased from Rs3,300 to Rs3,800 while urgent fee was also increased from Rs5,500 to Rs6,000.
