KARACHI: Students all over the country have demanded smooth internet facility from the government to attend online classes.

While the government has decided to shut down schools, colleges and universities across the country and directed for holding online classes, students of most of the areas have expressed concern over lack of internet facility with them.

A group of student leaders from Balochistan held a three-day protest outside Karachi Press Club in this regard. One of the students said that they did not have electricity in their areas let alone internet facility.

Another group of student leaders from tribal areas staged a demonstration outside the National Press Club in Islamabad. They demanded from the government to provide them smooth internet facility so that they could also attend online classes. They said that they were facing educational loss because of coronavirus.
