Stepped down in the greater interest of country, nation and party: Usman Buzdar

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar has issued a statement after submitting his resignation to the Prime Minister.
In a statement, Usman Buzdar said that he has tendered his resignation to Prime Minister Imran Khan, the post of Chief Minister is the trust of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the people.
He said that he had resigned in the greater interest of the country, the nation and the party.
“I am and will remain a soldier of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Prime Minister is my leader and I will respond to his every order.” Buzdar said.
He further said that he stands by his party in difficult times and would stand by it.
Usman Buzdar said that he has taken over the post of Chief Minister only for the service of the people and has worked day and night.
“For me, the real thing is commitment to the party and the people and we will work with Prime Minister Imran Khan to fulfill the public service agenda.” He added
