Statistics about Coronavirus deaths in Karachi released

Sindh reports two more coronavirus deaths, toll reaches 5 in province

KARACHI: The health department has issued statistics of deaths due to coronavirus in Karachi since Mar 26 the following year.

According to the report of health department, most of the deaths took place in Karachi’s district East, 904, while the second highest number of deaths were reported in district Central, 551.

District South stands at number three with 382 deaths from the deadly virus, while 303 fatalities have been reported in district Korangi. District West has reported the lowest number of deaths in the metropolis so far, 258.

Meanwhile, Tharparkar and Tando Muhammed Khan have reported the least number of deaths in the entire Sindh with three from each.

Fifty-six more people died of Coronavirus in Pakistan over the last twenty-four hours.

According to the latest statistics, 3,138 people were tested positive during the last twenty-four hours after conducting the tests of 40,202 people.

The figure of patients recovered from the virus has reached 374,301.
