Special PIA flight brings back 116 Pakistanis stranded in Turkey
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) continues its special flight operations and has repatriated stranded Pakistanis back to Faisalabad International Airport from Ankara, Turkey.
According to sources, out of a total, 55 passengers were sent to quarantine centers in Chanute, while others were moved to the centers in four different hotels in Faisalabad to screen and test them for the novel coronavirus.
Earlier, of the 97, as many as 91 plane crash victims from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) were identified and handed over to their families.
Sindh Health Department has confirmed identifications and handed them over to the families of 91 bodies of PIA plane crash victims.
Sindh health department said six bodies were currently pending identification at the Edhi Foundation mortuary.
All 97 passengers and crew members of the flight which crashed in a residential area near Karachi airport were reported dead except for two survivors.
