 South African cricket team to tour Pakistan next year

South African Cricket team has confirmed a tour with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday. A series of cricket matches with South Africa will be hosted by Pakistan after the gap of 14 years.

The cricket series is based on two ICC World Test Championship fixtures and three Twenty20 Internationals. Starting from January 26 2021, the two Test matches are scheduled to held in Karachi and Rawalpindi while all the three T20Is will be hosted by Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore till February 14.

Senator Faisal Javed khan has also shared his thoughts on Twitter. ” South Africa will become fourth team to tour Pakistan in last 15 months after Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe,” Javed stated in his tweet.

England are also expected to tour Pakistan next year in October. These are very positive developments for Pakistan since the 2009 terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore.
