ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry, during the conversation with media in Islamabad on Wednesday, spoke about Pakistan’s progress in the field of science and technology.
According to Chaudhry, Pakistan was not even capable of producing thermometer earlier, while now Pakistan had started to manufacture ventilators on its own. “Soon Pakistan will start manufacturing the dialysis machines indigenously,” he announced.
Moreover, he said that “the health sector will be developed further within the following year.”
Fawad Chaudhry highlighted the importance of science and technology and talked about its future market. He believes that in the coming years, artificial intelligence will be taking over most of the occupations.
Around 450 schools will be converted to focus mainly on science, technology, maths and engineering’s subjects, he maintained.
“On the other hand, the government is trying to establish good scholarship policies,” he said.
