Some underachiever students become governor, chief minister: KP Governor Farman
PESHAWAR: On a lighter note, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman has said that not all the students should be overachievers, there should be some underachievers who sometimes become governor and chief minister.
He said this while addressing an event at Islamia College Peshawar. He said it was difficult for him to make a speech before people more educated than him.
The KP governor said accountability would be carried out in all the educational institutes. “If 30 percent accountability of an institution is conducted. Then, accountability of Islamia College would be conducted 100 percent,” he said adding that the college should be run under the same thought for which it was built.
“We should teach ethics and norms of the society in our educational institutes,” he said.
