N. Waziristan: Soldier martyred in attack by unknown assailant

RAWALPINDI: A Pakistani soldier martyred in Azizkhel area of North Waziristan tribal district on Friday night.

According to the officials, unidentified attackers opened fire on the security forces personnel who were fetching water from near the checkpost in Azizkhel area which led to the martyrdom of a soldier.

The martyred soldier has been identified as Lance Naik Ebal Ali.

Moreover, the deceased’s body was moved to the Mirali Hospital for medico-legal formalities. Meanwhile, investigations have been carried out but no suspect has been found yet.
