 SMKT Karachi to be functional by 2023 : Imran Khan

The Prime Minister Imran Khan visited the building site of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust (SKMT) and expressed hope regarding its functioning by 2023.

Taking it to Twitter, the premier said “Visited the building site of SKMT Karachi. InshaAllah on target to open in 2023”.

“It will be twice the size of SKMT Lahore and will be equipped with all the latest diagnostic and treatment facilities. It will service Sindh and southern Balochistan”, he further added.

The Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust was established in the memory of PM Imran Khan’s mother who died while battling cancer in 1985.
