‘Smart lockdown’ in Rawalpindi starts today
For some areas of Rawalpindi, a ‘smart lockdown’ is being enforced as cases of coronavirus continue to rise across the country.
According to the Rawalpindi administration, fifteen areas in Rawal Town and seven in Cantt are included in that lockdown.
This also includes Dhok Kashmirian, Kari Street, Sadiqabad, Muslim Village, and Tench Bhatta.
During the lockdown, markets, hotels, and offices will be closed in the areas.
The deputy commissioner said lockdown implementation begins today (Thursday).
