Small traders face problems in Peshawar due to lockdown

As a result of lockdown imposed to control the spread of the coronavirus, small businessmen in Peshawar are facing several problems.
According to details, unemployment has increased due to the prevailing situation.
In a press conference held by the Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce and Industries, former Senator Haji Ghulam Ali and other business leaders, a number of concerns were put forward.
The government should provide facilities to traders. A one-year exemption should be made in bank markup on loans. Grants must be allowed for utility bills. Salaries of industrial workers should be given. Rents should be wavered and traders should be exempted from the lockdown.
Furthermore, it was decided that the provincial government should convene a consultation meeting of traders as soon as possible.
