Sleeper cell of Indian spy agency suspected to be involved in attacks on Rangers
KARACHI: Officials involved in investigation of recent spree of attacks on Sindh Rangers said that they suspected that Indian spy agency ‘RAW’ was embroiled in the terrorist incidents that took place in Karachi, Larkana and Ghotki.
They said the incidents of attacks were quite similar in their nature. They said Russian hand grenade was used in the Karachi attack as a Russian grenade plate was recovered from the site of the incident.
Grenade was used in the Larkana attack as well, while IED was not used in the attack in Ghotki too and it appeared as if hand grenade was used in this attack also.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has strongly condemned three separate attacks in Karachi, Ghotki and Larkana targeting Rangers personnel deployed at Ehsaas Cash Distribution point.
In a statement, he sought report from the authorities concerned on the incidents.
