Skardu remains the coldest city of Pakistan with minus 21° Celsius
Pakistan is facing severe cold weather across the country and the lowest temperature is recorded minus 21° Celsius in Skardu.
Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said in its weather report that Pakistan’s northern areas remained the coldest with Gupis -11°Celsius, Astore and Bagrote -10°C.
Thick blanket of fog prevails in many plain areas of Punjab and Upper Sindh, while in few districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) during morning and night hours.
Fog has engulfed plain areas of Punjab including Lahore, Gujranawala, Gujrat, Narowal, Sargodha, Layyah, Bhakar, Khushab, Mianwali, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Toba Tek Singh, Hafizabad, Jhang, Faisalabad, Okara, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, D.G Khan and Rajanpur.
