Six dead in Bajaur roof collapse incident

BAJAUR: At least six people, including children, died and four others got wounded after roof of a house collapsed in Bajaur district of tribal areas on Wednesday.

The incident took place in Balott area of Tehsil Mamond. As soon as the news of the incident spread, local residents arrived to shift the injured and dead, on self-help basis, to the district headquarters Kharr hospital for treatment and medico-legal facilities respectively.

The dead include Hina Bibi, Zaid, Asia, Huzaifa and Anees, while those who got injured have been identified as Hanifullah, Nazakat Bibi, Laila Bibi, Zainab and Rehana Bibi.

It may be noted that few hours before this incident a woman had become severely injured after roof of her house caved in in Naogai area of Bajaur district. She was also brought to the district hospital.
