KARACHI: In a bid to curb the spread of deadly coronavirus in the province, the Sindh government has agreed to ban iftar arrangements on roadsides and public places.
According to sources, official iftar parties will also be banned according to sources and government has advised financial, social, and religious organizations not to host iftar parties during the holy month of Ramadan.
On the other hand, the government of Sindh is expected to issue orders today about Taraweeh prayers. Sources say that authorities are considering banning Taraweeh prayers in places and halls of public interest. In the meantime the government is also in touch with ulema to restrict the Taraweeh congregation in mosques.
