Sindh lifts restrictions on market timings for Eid ul Adha

Government of Sindh lifted the restrictions related to the early closure of markets in the province ahead of Eid ul Adha.

According to the Sindh Home Department, the decision was taken on the occasion of Eid ul Adha.

The Sindh Home Department says the sanctions notification will take effect again on July 11.

It may be recalled that the Sindh government had ordered the closure of business centres and markets at 9pm to tackle the ongoing energy crisis.

On the other hand, on the occasion of Eid ul Adha, the district administration of the federal capital Islamabad also suspended the orders related to the closure of shops till July 10, for which a notification has been issued.

According to the notification, the decision to suspend the closure orders has been taken in the best interest of the people.
