Sindh govt to suspend salaries if not inoculated against covid-19
The Sindh government has announced to suspend salaries of the workers who will to attain covid-19 vaccine.
The decison took place in a meeting chaired by Murad Ali Shah, regarding covid-19 situation in the country.
During the meeting, secretary Health Dr. Kazim Jatoi revealed that 26,812 passengers arrived from the overseas and 55 were tested covid-19 positive.
Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, Saeed Ghani, Nasir Shah and Jam Ikramullah. Dr Abdul Bari, Dr Sara Khan and Dr Qaisar Sajjad were also a part the meeting.
According to the Sindh Health Department, 1,550,553 people have been vaccinated in the province so far, while 1,121,000 people have received the first dose and 429,000 people have been fully vaccinated against the virus.
The covid-19 positivity ratio in Karachi was recorded 12.45 pct on June 1st and 11.77 pct on June 2nd.
