The Sindh government has announced that 37,000 more teachers will be hired over the next three years through tests to be held at IBA Sukkur.

A hand out from Chief Minister’s House revealed that a sub-committee would be formed to review the recruitment policy for 2021.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah chaired a meeting in this regard, which was attended by ministers, advisors, the chief secretary and all the secretaries concerned.

According to the recommendations, the recruitment eligibility for the primary teachers would be graduation in second division.

However, the post of primary teacher will be changed to 14th grade from 9th because of the changes in qualification requirement.

Career progression would be implemented while keeping the teachers in the primary schools, For instance, the post of a senior primary school teacher (grade 16) and the post of a Head or chief Primary School Teacher at grade 17 can be created for the promotion of primary school teachers.
