Sindh govt relaxes timings for restaurants

KARACHI: The Sindh government has relaxed timing for restaurants across the province by allowing takeaway till 1:00 am, while they could serve their customers outside of the eatery until 10:00 pm.

The notification issued by the Sindh Home Department read that the service of home delivery can be continued 24/7. The fresh rules will be applicable till Jan 31 next year.

The provincial government has sealed and fined tons of restaurants following imposition of coronavirus standard operating procedures.

As the second wave of Covid-19 keeps intensifying in Pakistan, 71 more deaths and 2,729 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours.

The death toll has now reached 8,724 and there are now 45,124 active cases in the country. 381,208 patients stand recovered from the pandemic.
