Sindh Govt offers Turkish Company to bring Electric buses in Karachi

Sindh Information and Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon met a director of Turkish company Albayrak Group, Cemil Senocak and offered him to bring electric public buses of the European standard to Karachi, stating that it was a metropolitan city with best business opportunities.
Talking to the director of Turkish company, Sharjeel Memon said that Karachi is a metropolitan city where there are excellent business opportunities. Sindh government has planned modern BRT system in Karachi under Red Line, Orange Line, People’s Bus Service and Yellow Line.
He also invited the director of Turkish company to set up a manufacturing plant in Dhabeji Free Economic Zone.
Sharjeel Memon said that Sindh government is ready to work with Turkish company on other options including public-private partnership.
The Turkish company director said that he is proud to work in Pakistan and would like to work in Karachi, the largest city in Pakistan.
