 Sindh Govt imposes section 144 across province for 30 days

Following the recent terrorist activities and possible terror threats, the Sindh government on Tuesday decided to impose section 144 across the province for 30 days.

In view of the current political situation, section 144 has been implemented by the Sindh government throughout the province.

In this regard, the sources said that due to the current political situation in and threat of terrorism, it has been decided to implement section 144.

The Sindh Home Department also issued a notification regarding the implementation of section 144.

After the issuance of the order, rallies, processions and public gatherings will be banned in Sindh and violators of the law will be prosecuted under section 144.

According to the Sindh Home Department, section 144 has been enforced across the province for 30 days.
