Sindh govt decides to reopen schools from tomorrow

KARACHI: The Sindh government on Monday decided to reopen schools from grade 6th to 8th across the province on June 15 tomorrow.
Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani made this announcement. He said that primary classes would begin from June 21 given that coronavirus cases were improved.
“All the school staff must be vaccinated and classes will be held with 50 percent attendance,” he said.
On the other hand, the Sindh Coronavirus Task Force in a meeting decided that business activities in the province would be closed for one day only on Sunday instead of two days a week.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said the decisions were taken in accordance with the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC)’s directions.
He directed that driving licenses should be issued to only those people who had been vaccinated.
