Sindh govt announces to detain unvaccinated people
According to a notification issued by the Sindh home department, the provincial authorities have decided to arrest unvaccinated people to further accelerate the vaccination process against Covid-19 in the province.
Business Recorder has reported that the decision has been taken after fresh directives are being issued by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
The notification further states:
- Travellers on motorways will require to get vaccinated by September 20.
- Buses and other equipment of the transport companies will be confiscated if their staff found unvaccinated.
- Hotel and restaurants will be sealed over unvaccinated staffers including eateries involved in home delivery service.
- The unvaccinated travellers will not be able to avail train services from now onwards.
Sindh is the province most affected by the Covid-19. It has so far reported 450,787 positive cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
