Sindh governor wants declaration on finality of prophethood (PBUH) mandatory for nikkah

Newly appointed Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori proposed adding a declaration on the belief of the finality of prophethood (PBUH) mandatory for Muslim couples intending to get married.
In a letter written to Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah,, the Sindh Governor has proposed to add the a declaration on the belief of the finality of Prophethood (PBUH)in the marriage certificate and said that, adding this in the marriage certificate Muslims will be able to express their love and devotion to the Prophet (PBUH).
He stressed that to believe in the finality of Prophethood (PBUH) is the integral part of the faith of every Muslim and requested Sindh CM Murad to take necessary steps in this regard.
He suggested that it should be made mandatory for Muslim couples intending to get married
The nikah nama is a contract signed by Muslim men and women during the solemnisation of marriage.
