Sindh announces winter vacations for schools

The Government of Sindh on Thursday announced winter vacations for schools and colleges, public and private, across the province.

Schools and colleges will remain closed for winter vacations from December 20 till January 1, 2023, as per a decision taken by the education department’s steering committee.

The decision was taken after a meeting held by the sub-committee today, which also agreed to reopen educational institutions across Sindh on Monday, January 2, 2023.

Earlier, the Punjab government also announced a two-phased winter vacation schedule for the province’s public and private schools and colleges.

Schools and colleges will be closed for winter vacations in two different phases, from 23 December  to 6 January 2023 and from 3 to 13 January 2023, respectively.
