The Sindh government has announced to reimpose new restrictions in the province from Monday onwards amid surge in Covid cases.
Shopping centers and markets will only be allowed to remain open from 6am till 6pm. Meanwhile, business activities will remain closed on Friday and Sunday.
Schools and other education centers will also remain closed from Monday while higher secondary examinations will take place as per the schedule.
The authorities have also decided that indoor and outdoor dining will be closed in restaurants and they will only be allowed to offer takeaway and delivery services.
It has been decided to ban all public gatherings which includes the closure of marriage halls and shrines.
Only 50% percent working staff will be allowed in government and private sectors across the province.
All the new restrictions will be enforced from Monday, according to a meeting of the provincial coronavirus task force chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
