Sikh pilgrims have arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday (today) via Wagah Border to celebrate the 552nd birthday of Baba Guru Nanak.
More pilgrims are expected to arrive in Pakistan via Wagah Border soon.
The birthday celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak will start on November 17 (today) which will conclude on November 26.
During the stay of pilgrims in Pakistan, they will be able to visit various Gurdwaras including Gurdwara Janam Asthan in Nankana Sahib and Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur.
Pakistan is set to host at least 3,000 Sikh pilgrims for the 552nd birthday occasion of Guru Nanak.
Previously in 2019, the Pakistan government opened a visa-free Kartarpur Corridor for the Sikh pilgrims as Pakistan looks to promote religious peace and harmony.
