Sikh journalist demands justice for slain brother, blames accused for threatening phone call
Harmeet Singh (Twitter)

PESHWAR: Harmeent Singh, a journalist hailing from Shangla district, once again demanded justice for his brother Parvinder Singh who was found dead in Peshawar in January 2020.

Harmeet Singh alleged that the main accused, who was imprisoned in the murder case, threatened him on a phone call from jail. He said that he had been asked to take the case back.

On January 4, the 25-yeay-old Parvinder Singh was shot dead whose body was later found in Peshawar. According to the investigation, Parvinder Singh’s fiancée Prem Kumari was behind his murder.

However, Harmeet Singh has questioned the authorities for delaying justice for his brother and criticized the KP police for facilitating ‘the murderer’ who was supposedly hired by Kumari to kill Parvinder.

Harmeet said that Justice is his right and he hoped that the government would help him in getting it.
