Sidra Ameen wins ICC Women’s Player of the Month award for November

In a major achievement, Pakistan’s opener Sidra Ameen has been named the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for November 2022 after her incredible performance in the home ODI series against Ireland.
England’s Jos Buttler won the honor of being the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) player of the month for November 2022.
Sidra played an excellent innings of 176 runs in the first match of the home ODI series against Ireland and 91 runs in the second match. She remained not out in both the matches.
She was dismissed for 10 runs in the third and final match of the series, but due to her incredible performance in the first two matches, she sealed the crown.
Earlier in October, Pakistan’s star all-rounder Nida Dar has been named the ICC Women’s Player of the Month due to her incredible performance during the Women’s Asia Cup.
During the Women’s Asia Cup earlier this year, Nida Dar scored 145 runs at an average of 72.50 and took 8 crucial wickets.
Nida Dar was at her best in the historic win against India in Sylhet, Bangladesh, where Pakistan was batting first with the score of 33 runs for 3 wickets, but she scored an unbeaten 56 runs and helped the team’s total score to reach at 137 runs.
Nida Dar performed brilliantly in bowling too and took important wickets of India’s Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemima Rodrigues and India failed to achieve the target while India later won the tournament.
