Shops and businesses in Sindh will remain closed throughout Ramazan’s first ten days, as decided Thursday by the provincial government and traders.

The decision to finalize SOPs in relation to Ramazan was taken at a meeting between the two sides.

Shopping malls, markets, stores, and businesses have been decided to remain closed for the first ten days of the holy month.

According to the Sindh government, traders will be permitted to do business online between 9 am and 3 pm, from Monday to Thursday. Home delivery will be allowed in this time frame.

Traders were therefore told to act solely on precautionary steps when operating online businesses. Companies found breaking the guidelines will be shut down.

Shops and businesses in the province were shut down late last month as part of a government-announced lockdown

The lockdown has been implemented in an attempt to curb the coronavirus spread.
