Shopkeeper arrested for harassing two women in Quetta

A shopkeeper was arrested Wednesday for assaulting two women at Quetta.

Police said a Kechi Baig police station squad raided the Uzbek market and arrested a man identified to be Abdul Ghaffar.

Ghaffar owned a house above the market. The two women’s father had called for an investigation against the shopkeeper. When they went to his shop, the father said that Ghaffar would harass his daughters every time.

A case against Ghaffar has been registered, and further inquiries are under way.
