Leading singer Shehzad Roy has expressed happiness over the decision to remove the age limit for teaching course B.Ed.
Apart from singing, Shehzad Roy is also known for his education and other social services.
Expressing his views on the important decision on Twitter, he wrote in his tweet: “The meeting chaired by Saeed Ghani was heartily pleased with the decision of STEDA (Sindh Teachers Development Authority) that there is no age limit for any student aspiring for B.Ed.
The singer added that it would be a great effort to encourage students who want to become teachers.
It may be recalled that the previous Sindh government has decided to abolish the age limit for those interested in teaching and B.Ed. Earlier, the age limit for B.Ed was fixed at 28 years.
The proposal in this regard came up after a long time in the meeting of the Board of Governors of Sindh Teachers Development Authority in which an important decision was taken to remove the age limit for B.Ed after consultation with the participants.
