 Shehbaz Sharif criticises recent increase in petroleum product’s prices

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif has criticised the recent increase in the prices of Petroleum products.

Taking it to Twitter, Shehbaz Sharif stated “PTI regime has set another ‘record’ today, for the first time in history, the prices of petroleum products have touched all-time high.”

On Thursday, the assistant to Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gill apprised that the federal government had increased petrol price by Rs5.40 a liter.

While, Dr Shahbaz Gill said, the government had approved to increase diesel price by Rs2.54 and light diesel price by Rs1.27 a liter. He termed it a relief from the centre contrary to recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
