LAHORE: Referring to Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif as Noon and Sheen respectively, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Monday said that they could not be separated from each other.
Maryam Nawaz said this while addressing a press conference along with senior party leadership at Model Town in Lahore, in response to arrest of the PML-N president. She said it was a very tragic day.
“I have no doubt that Shehbaz Sharif is arrested not over an allegation or a crime. They had to arrest him and the verdict was already written with them. Everybody knows that for what he has been arrested. Shehbaz, despite their full efforts, did not leave his party supremo in lurch,” she said. Maryam said Shehbaz was being punished for his loyalty with his brother.
The PML-N leader said that Leader of Opposition in Punjab Hamza Shehbaz was imprisoned for the last 13 months in a bid to stop him from mobilizing party MPAs in the Punjab Assembly.

“If there was any justice and accountability in the country then Lt General Asim Saleem Bajwa would have been arrested because companies in the name of Bajwa’s family surfaced in dozens of numbers, while Shehbaz was a businessman,” she said.
She said the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) did not see Bani Gala’s being regularized at once and erupting of fire in BRT Peshawar buses.
